I bought this electric kettle to allow me to heat water without having to always use the stove and one of those annoying whistle kettles to do it. After reading a ton of reviews on various electric kettles, this one was the one I bought. Based on people saying how fast this would boil water, I was shocked when I first tried it out. After filling it up to the max fill line with cold filtered water straight out of my fridge I placed it in its base and flipped the switch. For the sake of an first test I even set a stopwatch timer to see just how fast it really would come to a rolling boil. Again fridge cold water, full kettle, and set the stopwatch timer right as I hit the switch. 4-Minutes and 35-Seconds to a rolling boil. I was absolutely shocked! My professional grade gas stove won¡¯t even boil water that fast, let alone cold water to a rolling boil. I have been using this thing everyday and several times a day and it still keeps to that time frame to boil. I would recommend this to anyone who needs or wants an electric kettle that boils water so fast you don¡¯t have to walk away and wait. Very well made and very sturdy. So far after probably more than 100+ uses and counting, it¡¯s a workhorse. Love it!

I want to start with I love this kettle so much! It’s super cute, it heats up pretty quickly, it pours really nicely, the app is easy to use, and you can watch the temperature rise in real time. I never had to dry the inside; as long as I emptied the water and kept the lid off, the temperature of the kettle evaporated the water completely after a while.
The only reason I rated 4 out of 5 is because the silver ring on the handle close to the kettle gets kinda hot. I mean, yeah it’s a kettle, its supposed to get hot, but the way the handle’s designed means your thumb is right next to where it gets hot and if you’re even a little careless, or have a weak grip, you’ll get a toasty surprise. I don’t think it’s a risk of being seriously burned, I’ve just got sensory problems and am sensitive to hot things. So I would still recommend buying it.
All that said, I am returning it, but only because .8L isn’t quite large enough for me; I want something that’s more than a couple cups at a time. I should mention that customer service was awesome; I jumped the gun and registered my product as soon as I opened it, and had to send them an email to undo it.
They were reasonably quick to respond (the next day or the day after) and ya know how sometimes you contact customer service and it feels like they didn’t actually read your message and they’re regurgitating a script rather than responding to the issue you have? This wasn’t like that. They offered to delete the data on their end and even asked if I wanted them to unsubscribe me from their email list. Way cool.

The kettle seemed very high quality and heated up WATER extremely quickly. Unfortunately, I needed to heat other liquids, apparently with lower boiling points, so w/o temperature control this is not the item for me. If only boiling water (or liquids with similar boiling points to water), this seems to be an excellent kettle (I cannot speak to longevity).

Oh my gosh!!!!! If you prefer tea over coffee in the morning for that caffeine kick, or if you¡¯re a writer like me, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!! You can set it to begin boiling/heating up the water at a set time and insure it keeps it at that temperature for a whole hour (for anyone who hits that snooze button or forgets about things often.) There¡¯s a coffee setting too, but I use this for my many many many cups of tea.

Great kettle. You can heat up a lot of hot water in one sitting! Inside and outside is all METAL, except the handle and the base. Great upgrade from stove kettles. It doesn¡¯t hold the water temperature if you leave it but that¡¯s okay! You can just reboil it with one button press! It¡¯s already showing spots on the bottom of kettle but i dont mind it!

This kettle is well constructed and heats up quick when you¡¯re in a hurry and want that tea or coffee fast. Great for the French press and pour over coffee makers. Tip¡.use filtered water to avoid calcium deposits and extend life of the kettle.

Read all the reviews and bought the double wall stainless steel black model few days ago and I love it. Now I can make a cup of tea whenever I feel like it and with the current cold weather in Midwest it is very handy. It boils the water in few mins and shuts off automatically. I use filtered water in it as I always make tea with filtered water. In the nights I empty the kettle out fully and keep the lid open so it air dries. I did clean it with the water run suggested in the manual before I started using it. It might be difficult to clean with soap water as the lid will be in your way. Just have to descale it as suggested in the manual.
Only concern/bummer is , not sure why didnt list the other colors that are available in the item page. I saw the orange one only y’day but I cannot exchange it as I got a promotional offer from for something else and I used it to buy this kettle. Bummer as I really like the orange one. Not planning on getting another kettle just for the sake of the color.
