We love the ability to heat our water in advance, due to our master bedroom being upstairs. The one problem we had was taste ! Every other brewing had a peculiar taste (We did follow the cleaning instructions) . We had to boil lemons inside a few times to rid the unit of its taste.

This kettle does one thing well. It boils water. It doesn’t allow for temperature adjustments, doesn’t reboil endlessly, it doesn’t do windows or dishes, it just boils water and turns off. As it should. And it makes a great load of hot water. Good for big families and office parties or kombucha makers.
However, for the price, it should do some of those things.
What it also does it dribble. If you poor carefully and slowly, it pours fine. But tilt it a little too much and boiling water pours beyond the sides of the spout along the lid, over the sides of the teapot or cup and onto the counter and over the edge onto my bare feet. Or your slippers or whatever.
II’ll learn to live with it, and my toes will heal, but thought a warning would be advised.

My husband and I were in hot pursuit of a new tea kettle. I wanted one for consistent evening tea drinking and he wanted it to have more accurate coffee temperatures. We searched the Internet for a budget friendly kettle. We read a lot about one in particular, but neither of us could justify spending $150 on a tea kettle. So thanks to a gift card and more searching, we found this .
We love that it comes with an app. I can consistently see what temperature the water is currently. We have used this feature a lot of our Neti pot. I have loved it for making French press and pour over coffee. It works great for making tea for brewing kombucha. All around it has been awesome!
I love the minimalist look on the counter top. You can see it is much smaller than the kitchenaid. I do at times wish it could hold more water, but it¡¯s a balance of counter space and water space. It heats very quickly.
One downfall: when I make kombucha I need a lot of hot water so I end up refilling it several times. It heats fast, which is helpful, but sometimes the lid can be hot to the touch when pulling off immediately after heating the water. With caution it is not an issue, but it did get me the first time.

This is a great kettle so far. I use it daily and it heats water quickly and quietly. The large opening at the top makes cleaning easy. The only negative comment I have is that it is quite heavy with 4 cups of water in it and might be difficult for a frail/elderly person to use. I would still recommend this kettle for most people to use.

Bought this kettle to replace my old one, so far love it! Looks really beautiful, I like the fact that the inner lid is stainless steel rather than plastic. I washed the kettle multiple times before actually using it, so didn¡¯t have the problem of plastic smells. I do see some residues start building up at the bottoms though, but I guess it¡¯s because of the water quality, just remember to clean it with white vinegar once it a while, that should solve the problem.

Love how fast and easy to clean it is. When little marks emerge at the bottom of the pot just put vinegar and baking soda and then let it bubble for a few seconds and then boil it until the light goes off and all the marks will completely disappear!

One of the reasons I bought this is for the filter in the spout and in one of the videos it literally says so you can infuse lemon or make loose leaf tea in it and the filter will keep all that from pouring out. But the filter has a big gap around it so.. it’s useless. And the manual says to only put water and nothing else in it. Fake and misleading selling point.

Looks wonderful, love the pre-set temperature buttons. Changes from blue light to white when in warming mode. That feature isn¡¯t on most kettles. I open the lid when finished using to dry out the inside. Has a wide opening.
