Our family totally loves this thing! It’s great to flip a switch and walk away and really quickly you’ve got hot water. We use it for oatmeal, instant coffee, tea and ramen noodles. It’s really nice that you can heat up a large amount and cover several of those needs at the same depending on who wants what. I’m very happy not be microwaving as much which we all know isn’t great for you! Win, win!

I really like the connection between the kettle in the iPhone app. It allows you to communicate with the kettle using Bluetooth. You can turn the kettle on to custom temperature are used one of the presets that has been determined by the manufacture or configure the custom temperature button to always save your favorite temperature. I use this kettle daily to make pour over coffee by using the black coffee preset of 205¡ã. I like to use the custom temperature button for heating distilled water to body temperature so I can use that as preheat water for my CPAP or Nettie pot. I can also see where this feature would be useful for parents making baby formula.

The inside of the kettle has only and stainless , this is a huge plus because other brands has some plastic or silicone inside where the water goes. Therefore, this product is really good. I love how easy it is to start heating it up in the morning, and though it connects through Bluetooth, when you open the app it does it automatically so it is incredibly seamless and easy, and the range is surprising too! Also, the temperature hold is useful too, and you can customize the settings of the kettle in the app to your liking (you can set how much time it holds the temperature, if it holds it by default, if you want to resume the temperature hold when you put it back in its base after a pour…)

There is one small slot in the lid with the plastic exposed to the interior but NO any plastic smell from the first water boiling. I am very happy that I¡¯ve finally found what I need after dealing with a few other brands. Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Whenever I want to make multiple cups of tea, or have a need for boiling water, an electric kettle is the way to go. Fill it up, plug in the base, and press the switch – hot water in a couple of minutes. I¡¯m not sure why Temperature Control was a rating, because an electric kettle has one purpose – HOT! Easy to clean, no scaling, and extremely easy to use. Every kitchen should have one.
