We live in a desert climate and the air gets very dry, and now that we are using the heating system, it gets drier than ever. I got this little machine for use in the spare room and our visitors were very pleased with it, commenting on how quiet it is. Note: use RO water similar or you will find fine white powder EVERYWHERE in your house from the minerals in tap water. I have several different machines and I use RO (reverse osmosis) water in them all after finding out what using tap water does.

We’ve been using this humidifier in my son’s room for about 8 months now. As I was cleaning it this morning (way overdue), I was thinking I should write a review. When I finally get around to cleaning it, I can remove the top, pour out the water, and drop the pieces into a sink full of warm soapy water. Using a cloth or a bottle/straw brush, I’m able to clean all the nooks and crannies in the pieces and in the machine itself. The machine is easy to fill; we just pour a couple of bowlfuls of water in the top.
Using the humidifier is easy. Just plug it in, turn the dial to the intensity you want, and go. There’s just one simple green light to show you it’s on and working well. If the machine runs out of water, it stops and the light turns red.
We’ve used a lot of humidifiers in the last several years; this one might be my favorite. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the previous machines I’ve owned, but it does the trick and is easy to maintain.

I used this to keep my room from getting too dry and also next to my plants for humidity in the winter time and it makes a huge difference! Filling it at the max and keeping it at the lowest setting lasts about a day and some change before having to fill it again and its super quiet!

I actually bought 2 of these because I liked the first one so much! First of all, I like the easy refill from the top; second of all, it is super quiet and lastly easy to regulate the output : top vent turns in the direction you want the mist to go and button knob increase the output. I have to refill it every other day and to ease cleaning I use a little floating cleaning ball (prevents mold and bacteria buildup).

No worries about a slime build up or any of that pink residue because you can reach the entire inside to clean it. My room gets pretty dry in the winter. Humidity down in the 30% range. This brings it up to high-40’s or mid-50s, which is nice. It’s cool mist. Some people swear by the warm mist models, but this works for me.
Not the easiest thing in the world to refill. If you’re bringing it to the faucet, you need to carry the whole unit. There’s no detachable reservoir. It won’t fit in the sink so I need to do it in the tub and it’s not super easy so hold in the right spot there. Instead, I use a small container with a spout to fill it in place. Need to make two trips, but that generally lasts all day or all night.

If you like simplicity like me, then this humidifier is a great choice. I wanted a simple, good looking, functional humidifier for my room, and this one executes all of those really well. It has one switch and that¡¯s about it, no timers or anything. I¡¯ve had it for a while and it¡¯s still works, the only thing I would like to change about it is to have the water container removable or have an easier access to clean the machine. But overall a great product for what it does.

I have stopped spending a lot of money on humidifiers. No matter how gently I use them and keep them clean they simply don’t last more than two years. This little humidifier would be perfect except for the fact that it is too bright. I’ve spent a lot of money on a sunrise-alarm clock and blackout curtains for my bedroom and using this at night defeats both.. I can only use this after my light-alarm turns on.. it’s ON light is too bright.

The only problem we have with the humidifier is that it says that it needs to be 2 ft off the floor. That presented a problem for us since we’ve always had them sit on the floor in the past. We finally brought
a little porch table that we put in the sunroom and installed the humidifier on that. If I had known about
