I had to get this projector after the original one i ordered was lost in shipping. We used it for my 6 yr olds movie themed bday party. It was ok for intended purposes, and i think for family movie night it would work. We used it indoors so i don’t know if it would be better outside, but it was kind of fuzzy and dim, the sound was low so i needed additional speakers, and you do need the adapter (as the description states) if you want to play directly from your smart phone or ipad, but it was decent price, the screen worked well enough

Very good for the price point. Make sure you have a USB TO HDMI ADAPTER if you plan on connecting your phone to the projector. Fortunately I have a adapter, the description didn’t really make that clear. Also be advised, I tried to hook up my Samsung A21 and it wouldn’t connect. However it did for my Galaxy S20 FE. I’m not the most tech savvy so I don’t know the difference, I just know I plugged in the adapter to my newer phone and it connected through the Samsung Dex , and I didn’t have to download another damn app. LOL. Do with this information what you will. ENJOY!!

This projector is really good for what it can do for the price. It has many inputs. I’m able to use my computer, my ipad, iphone and more. The iphone output is really clear on the screen. My little one enjoyed watching on the projector every time we have movie time.

This projector is really good especially for outdoor movie nights!! The picture quality is super good as well as the brightness. You can hook your phone up to the projector and it will mirror your phone on the projector or you can use your fire stick which I really like to do. The only issue I can think of is that you have to have a sound bar if you want to use the Bluetooth setting or else a portable speaker will be quitter than the projector¡¯s highest volume. But the projector is quite loud if your in a quieter place. Overall, I really love this projector and think it deserves five stars!

We love our outdoor projector¡. It has great picture quality & sound; super easy set up and manipulation of interface. – it¡¯s a great addition to our outdoor living space. Our disappointment came when after seeing pictures/videos from other reviewers, we were led to believe you could see the picture with light present¡ our experience is you cannot. It has to be pretty dark in order to see the picture 🙁
I¡¯ll be honest, we didn¡¯t get the remote to work but could¡¯ve very well been the batteries- BUT we have found that for the purpose of our use, we didn¡¯t need it when using the remote for our fire stick & being able to adjust the sound on the machine- we just didn¡¯t try another set of batteries.
