This is one little incredible projector! Purchased it last November (2020) and was really surprised at its quality of build! Absolutely bright and sharp images with true colors!! I have seen many projectors where the picture color doesn¡¯t match with what you see on the source but it¡¯s not the case here. It¡¯s really true to the color of source! I only projected from about 10 feet on a regular white wall and the picture quality looks just so awesome. The only drawback I could point is the quality of the inbuilt speakers. They are not that great but for this price no complaints. However i output the sound to my sound bar via a blue tooth transmitter which I purchased separately. Besides this the fan is a bit noisier but it¡¯s not noticeable once you immerse yourself into watching! Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. Another point I have to mention is about customer service. There was a small brown spot on the projected picture which occurred after around 5-6 months of my purchase and I guess it was due to overheating of the projector which probably was my bad as my son had it on for 4-5 hrs continuously I guess. I contacted the customer support informing them about the brown spot and they promptly replaced it with a new projector of the same type without any hassle! All I had to do was ship the old projector to them at my cost which I was absolutely fine with. I definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in a projector at a decent price!

I was skeptical given the price. But for my use (indoor, dark-ish room, movie night with the family), it would great. Color does get washed if you mess around with the brightness too much, but overall solid image, good depth and brightness was fine for our wall.

The menu is easy to understand and navigate, though the potentially useful option to reduce the screen size by 25 percent is not always easy to trigger with the arrows on the unit or the remote. The picture is bright and the 3-watt internal speakers produce adequate sound. There are plenty of inputs on the back, with two USB ports on one side. Be sure, however, that your indoor space is of the right dimensions to make the most of the . When I placed the projector in my usual place for a projector, 15 feet from my living room wall, the enormous screen covered much more than my white wall, and lost much of the image by plunging deep into the bathroom. Even with a reduction, the screen remained too big. (Optimal throw is between about 5.8 and 12.8 feet, the very good user manual said.) It wasn’t practical in my rustic summer cottage to move the projector forward for a smaller (and presumably sharper) image, nor was the sharpness at the long distance all that I wanted, so I reluctantly returned the product. There should be no problem at all outdoors. I like ‘s design and engineering, and I will be a future customer.

Set up was a snap, and we projected family movies onto a 120 inch screen, and the picture was sharp and brilliant. Even with some ambient light, the picture was great (though with lights out, it was brilliant. Easy to operate, we streamed from our laptops, including from Netflix and other services. The speakers are good, though with a crowd, we added a Bluetooth speaker.
The customer service also deserves high marks. I emailed to ask about buying a replacement remote. I explained our original broke and that it was entirely our fault (our puppy literally ate it), and asked where I could buy a new one. I received a reply advising me to send a copy of my purchase order, and they¡¯d mail me a replacement for free – and could not have been nicer.

You¡¯re gonna see a lot of reviews about the lumens, and sure, they¡¯re not 8500 ANSI lumens, but it¡¯s perfectly bright enough. I have a window open near the projector screen and it¡¯s still perfectly visible! Aside from the fan (can¡¯t avoid it, and you tune it out) I¡¯m very pleased with this thing.

I bought this projector for backyard movies. The contrast and brightness is AMAZING. The resolution looks more like 720p to me, and there is very slight pixelation in some scenes. But there is a noise setting option, that I have not used yet, that might minimize it more. It really looks better than even a drive in movie.

I found this particularly easy to set up and used it occasionally for various home theater viewings. We had a special outdoor event with the neighborhood coming up and wanted to use a (brand new, never been used or set up) Firestick instead of the DVD player. I had some trouble with the sound and could not figure out how to get to the Firestick controls for output. I emailed support with less than 24 hours until our event and they responded in only a couple hours! And the information provided was easy to follow and complete – I did not need any further contact but decided to write and let the world know, they are legit! Very easy and friendly! Our event was awesome and everyone had a great time, thanks to vendor support!

Excellent picture which is truly bright enough to use in day light. In fact, this is the best moderately priced projector I’ve ever used and as a teacher… I’ve used a lot of these type of projectors! If I could add features… I’d like to see Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and perhaps a better zoom feature… like the V6. 🙂
Either way you go, seems to be the top of the line for moderately priced projectors. They provide a brilliant picture in true HD with intense contrast, beautiful color and all packaged in an easy to use, lightweight projector. I highly recommend the family of projectors. Cheers

I had been using a 3000L projector in my home theater which needed almost total darkness to produce a good picture. When that projector died I replaced it with the Model (8500L). The improvement was great. We can get a viewable picture even with lights on in our theater. The was a little fussier about physical orientation to the screen than my prior projector, but that only took a couple more minutes for my initial/permanent set-up. Now it’s turn it on and it’s projecting a great picture in about one second. Definitely a good value and a purchase I am glad I made.

What an awesome projector. I can only review this for my application which is for my 92 inch home theater. Ive had multiple projectors over the years and spent 5 times as much and was no where near as good. The picture is so bright I can watch it during the day with all my windows and my front door open and the picture is still amazing. This projector was also the easiest to install. Attached it to my ceiling mount and was able zero it in on my screen in minutes. If you need a projector for a home movie theater this is the one to buy. You won’t be sorry.
P.S. make sure you read all the directions, specially the ones with the long q-tips as the lens system is not a closed system and can be cleaned.

I’ll be honest. I got this because it was cheap & I wanted an LED light that would have a longer life than the halogen projectors I’d had previously.
The picture was always bright and crisp. It was noisy, however.
Additionally, a few months ago we noticed a browning on the right side of the screen, assumptively from some burning. Then today (11 months after we bought it) a black hole developed at the top right of the screen.
Support of course only lasted for six months. Ah well.

This was such a great buy. Our whole idea was to do Drive-In feel movies in our backyard this summer. However, we also didn’t want to spend a king’s ransom on a projector. This guy had the resolution and brightness we were looking for, and the results are great. The only real hiccup it has is that it can’t play Dolby audio, so we’ve always had to change the audio settings on whatever we’re streaming from. It can take a couple minutes to find the setting, but for the value we’ve gotten from this thing, it’s absolutely worth it.

This projector, out of the box, was flawless. Installed batteries in the Remote (which is way nice!), Hooked up my MAC (with included HDMI cable). Started a movie, and with a couple of clicks, was off and running.
The audio out of the projector is very clear (nice sound) I will run this through a few more tests (hooking up external speakers (via the 3.5mm output jack).

Fantastic picture quality with the native HD, so much brighter than we expected, and a deceptively simple focusing process. After turning the manual keystone for initial clarity, we adjusted the corners back digitally, then focused to match the depth of the room. Works great with our devices and we cannot wait to get our projector screen to upgrade to a home cinema destination!
