This is one of the worst grills I have ever purchased. The instructions are confusing and halfway thru I realize the item was damaged

provide’s it’s not the largest unit, there’s two one’s that are larger

Super well constructed. Can cook slow or hot or anything in between. Would recommend getting BBQ gasket to stop small leaks it may have in lid.

I¡¯ve bought and tried several budget charcoal grills over the years trying to avoid buying the more expensive brand. This summer I needed a new grill and bought this one. It has the best temperature control of all the charcoal grills I¡¯ve had. You have holes in the cover and in the lower part of the kettle to adjust the temperature. Easily fits two full size chickens for indirect grilling. I think two pork shoulders you typically buy at a grocery store should fit too. I use a foil pan to catch the drippings and it helps keep the coals in place. Easy to clean out the charcoal dust and residue with the catch pan. It was worth the cost.

Please be careful with this grill. For whatever reason mine does not have any kind of cover on the front leg. It is EXTREMELY TOP HEAVY. If you try to move this grill, two things are almost guaranteed. 1) The lid will flip off. 2) The front leg will come up and try to gouge your leg. There was no cover on my front leg. It was sharp metal and made a deep two inch gash in my shin. I have owned many grills over the years and this has never happened. There is zero chance this hasn’t happened to other people. Please be careful when moving this grill. Other than that, it seems like a decent grill and went together very easily. Don’t let it hurt you though… it will try.

Grill lid is not shaped as round as the grill so it doesn¡¯t fit together as it should, particularly to snuff out coals. Doesn¡¯t appear to have been damaged in shipping but rather lack of quality control.

I’m certainly not a bbq pro, but i do like things to work properly from A-Z. I was initially a little worried reading all the reviews about assembly, but no issues at all. The legs were slightly difficult to get slotted in but not that bad. Ash catcher can be a little tricky to put back in each time but that really doesn’t call for the removal of a star. The only think i would say is missing is an attachment for the lid when you need to remove it.
Mr. Ed –
Too difficult to assemble the legs, making the grill useless.
Texas Kim –
Assembly took two of us. We managed to put it together with minimal arguing! The grill? It’s perfect. Larger than expected, easy to load with just the right amount of charcoal, easy to clean ash, and most importantly, even and controlled heat. We bought the green one and love it.
Billy –
I like the size, I¡¯m able to cook everything at once.
Tony –
Charcoal grill retains heat perfectly if you like indirect cooking over coals. Works like an oven as well as grill.
Renee Boudreau –
This grill takes a small bit of time to learn how to cook with charcoal vs propane or gas, but the results are so much better tasting. Once you learn about how to set the top and bottom air vents, and direct vs indirect heat, you will wonder why you didn’t go with a Charcoal grill so much sooner !

Perfect for a midweek dinner grill. While my big offset smoker/grill is still king, the kettle allows me to grill, kill the fire, and forget about it until next time I need it.

I bought this one for our son’s wedding. Fabulous BBQ without the bad taste of propane.

Love this little kettle. Threw out the gas grills and sticking with the Kettle. Easy on fuel, Sears perfect, zoned heat easy to setup! Thank you guys for engineering kit.
C. Matosian –
We love it! It¡¯s sturdy and beautiful! The 22¡± is pretty big. I thought it came with the lid holder but that comes with the largest 26¡± grill. However, the lid has a very handy hook on the inside that allows you to hang the hood on the side while preparing coals or food so you don¡¯t have to put it on the ground (nifty feature.

This is my 2nd time that I got this model. The first one, I had to give it away when I had to move to another city. So, I’m really happy to own again the 22″ premium model. It comes at a great price, and you can do a lot with this grill. The only thing I miss is the rear handle. It used to have another handle at the other side of body, opposite to the front handle that is attached to the grill bottom base. It is useful to have the rear handle also when you have to move the grill down or up the stairs. Other than that, I’m really happy with the product.
My Opinion –
The easy to use ash container is hard to line up to put on after taking it off. The temperature is difficult to adjust. The body that the legs go into had porcelain excess that made it impossible to insert the legs into it. It did not come with all the parts advertised. Wish I had just bought one from Craigslist that was functional and less expensive. I really believe gets the seconds that don¡¯t pass inspection. Now it¡¯s too late to return and I¡¯m stuck hating this POS.
Eric –
This is the best BBQ. I grew up on these and my dad still uses one. The new air control and ash collector is awesome new feature. Bottom line cooks the best tri tip and chicken. Smokes decent as well.

I love everything about it,grills are awesome!

An absolute BEAST of a unit, very easy to assemble, and with the right technique, you can smoke, bake, grill, broil…whatever you want. This is the most versatile charcoal BBQ, I highly doubt I’ll be going back to propane. I almost want a second one just for the trailer!

Gave it as a gift they thanked me very much said they really love it they¡¯re very happy with it , They prefer a charcoal
David J Mohne –
Great grill. It’s a classic design and style. Can’t go wrong with a good kettle grill.
Richard Boedeker –
I haven’t used the new grill yet, but I’m sure it will be just as good , if not better than the 35 year old Kettle that it’s replaced. I worked in assembly at a large home improvement store and was impressed with Weber’s quality and ease of assembly.

Product is as advertised, Assembly was easy and there are tons of ideas on the App

When I purchased this grill I was really excited. But due to hurricane Fred which came through my small community in august. And oak fell across my front deck in which my grill was on the front deck. I contacted Webber and supplied them with pictures as to where the oak tree had pretty well flattened my grill. Their response to me was we do not uphold the warranty because of weather. Just a question if you leave your grill out in the weather and it rust what is rust how do you get rest you get it from weather. I have left several complaints with them and they have yet to honor my request. I do not feel that I will ever ever buy another grill or will I put in a warranty because does not honor their warranties. All I can say is beware
River Runner –
We wouldn’t have any grill but a Weber. Our itty-bitty one has died, so we went back to a full size. Love these things!

Arrived in good condition. Minimal parts to assemble. Had trouble getting one of the legs to go into the socket, finally gave up on trying to use the snap button thingy and just beat the leg into the socket (no way it’s going to come loose or fall out anyway). The other legs went in with some effort, but they did go in. The caps that hold the wheels on were a bit difficult to get on and finally ended up turning the grill on it side and hammered the caps on by bracing the other end against the floor. There is no way you could hammer the caps on by holding the rod with your hand as shown in the instructions. There was also some confusion on assembling the top handle as the instructions (step #16) don’t make it clear that you are supposed to use the plastic wing-nut tool to unscrew the nuts first (they don’t look like regular nuts) and then put the handle on and then screw them back on. Now… having said all of that, I like this grill. It seems well enough made and I bought it specifically for the hinged grill and the ash can. And the copper color is cool too. So glad I got the 22″ model! I am very happy with this purchase.

It’s a Weber, pretty much all one needs to know. It replaced a 35 year old one. I will be dead before this one gets replaced.
