In 2016 I purchased my 1st projector:
iClever IC-P01 Multimedia Mini LED. Not bad for not knowing what I was getting for $55. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use it as much in low light settings and it was loud. The fan drowned out the sound enough that I needed a bluetooth speaker to hear any audio playing.
Then I found the desire to have some family outdoor movie nights. Knowing that my old projector wouldn’t be adequate enough, I did my research. Lumens are everything! I read reviews on various different models and brands. Then I saw this one! It has so much more versatility with connectivity. Very important to me for business meetings. It came with a screen that is easy to transport as well. The price is surprisingly reasonable for what you get and more! Sound quality isn’t drowned out by the fan either.. You won’t be disappointed!

I waited a few month before writing a review so that i could put it through its paces. Its very good for the price, great way to watch movies in the patio with friends and family, i have a firestick pluged in to this and the image quality is pretty good! I only have a few gripes with it. The IR remote messes with other devices i have set up like my lights and soundbar, my recommendation would be to use RF that way i dont have to directly aim at something behind me. The built in speakers leave something to be desired however they do have a speaker input port so you can connect a soundbar. Or other speakers. And you need your viewing space to be pretty dark to truly do the picture justice. But even with its flaws Its an allround pretty great projector that wont break the bank.

I originally thought to use this for outdoor use with my summer school students but I started using it in my house and it is AMAZING! I’m really happy with the projector. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it is quite noisy if you are using it inside the house. Also, I charged 129 but now it’s 89.99 for the same item so I’m a bit irked but its fine. However, other than that, I’m feeling like a wealthy movie star in my 2-bedroom apartment with my home entertainment system: Projector + fire-stick = Fancy feelings & Fun!

This little projector is nothing short of incredible. Awesome picture and I¡¯ve only used it on a bare wall. Works great with Apple TV and Roku. For the price and quality of this product you can¡¯t go wrong. The included screen is also a added bonus. It can be used as a front or rear projection screen. The speakers work very well also. For the price and quality it¡¯s well worth it!!!

I love this. The video was just me completing the setup and testing it out. Hubby will be putting up the projector screen later for a movie night.
Setup was a breeze and the picture quality is great.
The sound is good as well, however the volume, since we are using it outside, could not be high enough to hear for everyone. If it wasn’t for that, I would have given the sound 5 stars also.

I love this small projector. I use it in my classroom to view power points of academic instruction. I do have to turn the lights off to get the best picture. The picture is big, bright and beautiful with the lights off. Viewing with the lights on it is somewhat dull, but still visible. It is compact, easy to maneuver and easy to hook up to my computer. Great purchase.

My dream of having a TV in my back yard to watch some late night programing over cocktails ( or have a post pandemic movie party with neighbors) was made possible by this affordable but high quality projector. I’ve never heard of a non Apple device that accepts Apple’s Airplay. But this does. Which means you can beam contents of your iPhone directly to the screen. Same for rented or streaming movies from your phone, pad or computer. (hint, don’t beam directly from streaming apps, open movies in your browser and beam. some digital rights software confuse streaming with copying, If still not working try using Google’s Chrome browser).
This versatile projector also accepts various cable inputs like USB and HDMI. It’s got an enormous amount of high end features and produces a crip High Def picture. You’ll need to keep reminding yourself it is also very affordable.
Being a projector, it is best to wait until dusk. But I was amazed at just how bright the picture is.
One downside, you might want to add some bluetooth speakers, the audio quality isn’t the best. But I don’t think you can do better than this affordable little projector from Direct.
??Their customer service is both quick and very helpful. I had an issue the first time I tried to Airplay from my iPhone to the projector. But a quick email to Support and I was given excellent information to help me correct what ended up being my faulty set up.

Tested for brightness on a wall in an office with indirect LED lighting and some indirect daylight. The picture was better than I anticipated. Someone else has a photo on their review — it’s pretty accurate for what I saw here.
WiFi connection went okay, as did the screen mirroring with my newer model Samsung phone.
I did not test the sound.

Can’t say first hand how this is as I got it as a gift for kid. But they say it’s awesome and they love it! He is super techy so I trust he knows quality. So I will be getting this again for my other son and maybe get one for myself as well.
