I love everything about it, except the noise level. The flowing water sound is annoying if it¡¯s near your living space. I love the light and viewable water level. I just wish it was more quiet. I removed the fountain piece and it¡¯s tolerable now. My other fountain is quiet, but not as nice in other ways.

This is a cute waterer and when it gets low on water, the flow seems to get louder as an indication it needs to be filled. It creates a nice ambiance and the cat definitely drinks more water than he did with just a regular water bowl. I have noticed that I pick it up to refill it and there is sometimes a small puddle of water, but nothing larger than a quarter.

So far I really love this thing it has way easier parts to clean its filters are not prone to getting easily clogged or growing that wired slimy stuff like the catit fountain. I really like the pre-sponge filter as well I also love the water level light it’s really handy.

I¡¯ve been considering getting one of these fountains for a couple years now and I¡¯m very glad I finally pulled the trigger. After some hesitation my cats have taken to drinking from the fountain no problem. In fact I¡¯m not sure my little boy has ever drank so much water as he does now. One of the main reasons I purchased this is because one of our cats is always trying to lick faucets so we were hoping this will prove a good alternative (and if we¡¯re lucky keep her off the counters). Got one for my parents and myself so all of our cats will soon be using these fountains.
The constant water sounds from it do take some getting used to, however they¡¯re not loud enough to interfere with conversation or tv. I¡¯m also using the tallest spout option and I¡¯m sure the other two are quieter as the water bubbles out from those, rather than pours as it does from the flower spout. I also really enjoy the clear window in the front so you can the water level inside and the light makes for a good nightlight next to their food (it¡¯s not bright enough to bother me while I¡¯m trying to sleep).

Purchased for my 4 cats to encourage them to drink more to prevent kidney disease that many domestic house cats develop later in life. It works! My cats were immediately curious about it and I fill it more than I use to fill their water bowl indicating it is working! My dogs also think it¡¯s fun to drink out of when they have access to it. I was a little surprised by the trickling water sound but I quickly got used to it. My cat used to struggle with drinking water and I was concerned, but with this water fountain he drinks a lot. The colors are beautiful at night so he can see but not too bright. The features are great the small mat makes cleanup easy, would purchase again.

Since I have 4 different versions, by 4 different manufacturers I think I can tell you best, which product you should purchase. It is THIS ONE!!! It offers both ways to dispense the water. Either a water fall effect from the flower on top or to just bubble from the bottom of the “bowl”. It comes with the colorful little place matt. It comes with three filters. It comes with the little A/C adapter. Plus, it cost the least of all 4 that I purchased. The fountain I paid the most for was the first one I purchased. It didn’t have a matt or an A/C adapter. And it cost so much more. If you are torn about which one to get….Get THIS ONE!!!
