Boils a quart of water before I even get my coffee ground and the coffee maker set up! Seems like it is well build, and looks like a spaceship landed! I only use it with water, but it would be easy to reach inside for cleaning if you needed to.

We bought this recently to replace a Breville kettle that was malfunctioning. So far this is working great, and it’s fun to watch the water boil in the kettle. The lights are cool.
I wish the lid opened up further for filling. The little mesh bit that fits into the spout area compounds this. I might remove it, as I don’t foresee needing to filter anything while pouring.
The buttons are easy to operate. Their placement on the kettle handle means I have to grip the handle lower while pouring than I naturally would (to avoid pressing the buttons while pouring), but this is not a big deal.
I’m happy to have a working kettle with which I can heat water to French Press temperature for coffee, and for about half the price of the Breville.
Time will tell if this kettle continues to operate correctly. It’s been less than a month so far. If I don’t update this review, all is well and I’m not pissed off.

Had to replace our old electric hot water pot and this has been a great replacement. It¡¯s a tad bulkier and heavier than our old one, but sturdy and the push button to pop up the lid is handy as our old one it tended to flop around and hinge eventually broke on one side. Also means if you need to pop the top when still hot in the pot your fingers are away from any steam that comes out around the lid (some pots like our old one required you push in too tabs on the side of the lid and you could get steam across your fingers). Boiled pretty quickly, about average of the pots we have had. Happy with it with a couple of months of work now.

I can boil a little or I can boil alot. AND IT GETS HOT! I make alot of hibiscus/green tea with cinnamon sticks iced tea and this kettle is the kettle for me! I wanted see through so I can keep on top of cleaning and any potential build up. Heats and boils up fast! So then I heat up a second batch of water to let that hibiscus/green tea leaf mix from the first batch soak again. I also use hot water to heat the dog kibble. I won’t be microwaving it anymore – it heats up their kibble, chicken, etc… LOVE LOVE LOVE this kettle!

Prefer all , no plastics, no smell. Having read previous reviews and seeing how this is all and claims no plastics and no smell, I purchased anyway despite some contrary reviews.
So here goes.
It smells like plastic¡a lot. So I flushed it with water and vinegar several times. Once I figured out that the smell was coming from the plastic in the lid, I focused on flushing the lid¡a couple of hot water baths to the lid and no more smell, and no taste.
Is it noisy, you bet. But after a few weeks of use, it is now surprisingly quiet. It does take an extra minute to heat up, but no big deal. Apparently, new coils need to season and they really quiet down.
The pot is now nearly perfect, looks great in the kitchen, and does exactly what I wanted.
Patience people, a little time and you will find this to be a great product.

How did I live without this¡.
The good: It heats water fast. Borosilicate is a very good quality ¡°tough¡± and this pot is made with a decent thickness. I like being able to see inside the pot. At a glance you can actually see the waters almost at boil. I like the LED blue ring on the bottom that turns white to confirm your water is ready. The 6 presets are handy and a snap to use. The lid pops up and stays up when you push the button. It surprised me how handy that feature is. The opening on top is large enough that even my big hands can clean the inside. The 1.7 liter capacity is great. Lots of hot water if you need it.
The bad: Nothing, zero, zilch, nada. This pot reeks of quality.
If there is ever an issue with this pot I¡¯ll update this review.

It’s easy to use, and like the one hand operation to open the lid. One minor thing, the steam condense at the top half of the pot wall even after the pot cools down and I even open the lid to let the steam evaporate.

After using the tea kettle for 1 1/2 month, the spring for the lid snapped and couldn¡¯t close completely anymore. No matter how hard I push down, it won¡¯t close. I called customer service and they immediately sent me another one. I still love my tea kettle a lot and I had a painless experience dealing with the issue of the lid.
