Since moving to the US, I’ve used the microwave for heating water in a measuring cup and then pouring in my mug. Didn’t realise how much I’ve missed having a kettle. This kettle does everything I never had growing up:
– 1.5l capacity (yes US, it has markings for cups as well)
– Hidden heating element, so the coils don’t get covered in deposits over time
– Fully carafe so you can see exactly how much water remains
– 500ml boils in 2 mins; in comparison, my 1200W microwave takes >3 mins
– Separate power base (the base is 95% stable / 5% wobble but acceptable)
– Lid doesn’t fly open when button is depressed, but it’s not a slow-open flap
– Filter is metal, screwed on, accessible, and not meant to be replaced; ~2mm sized holes
– Handle is thick and comfortable; weight is well distributed and easy to pour when full
– The cord can be wrapped around the inside-bottom of the base for a clean look
The blue LEDs when the unit is turned on are gimmicky, BUT they’re not blindingly bright, and turn off as soon as the unit is removed from the base.
Although the carafe obviously gets hot and emits radiant heat after the water has boiled, I’d purchase another kettle in future if I ever need to replace this one. The pros outweigh the cons.
Although there are no ‘keep warm’ or ‘heat to this temperature’ options, I have absolutely no use for such things and entirely do not affect the 5-stars rating.

As is true for all electronic things, this flawed when I received it. However, the Customer Service Department, on hearing of it, took immediate corrective action and replaced it with a new unit. The new Kettle is flawless in its operation. It can be manually controlled from a touch-pad and remotely controlled via Bluetooth from an free smart phone app. I checked the temperatures to see if they tracked with the button or Bluetooth settings and with a calibrated thermometer found the temperature to be correct to within two degrees, certainly accurate enough for brewing beverages. The only negative issue is that this kettle is so beautiful, functional, and a joy to operate that now I have a tendency to overdose on the teas I brew with it.

This kettle has everything I was looking for in a lover. It warms to my needs quickly, it is sturdy, has a nice profile, and cleans up nicely after prolonged use. I seriously love how quickly this kettle boils water. With previous kettles, I would fill it and then watch the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy before my water was ready. With the kettle, I can’t even peel a cheese string before it’s boiling.

I love love LOVE this coffee pot! I had a fancy gooseneck that worked for about a year and then promptly broke but I never really liked it …. so I was a little hesitant about buying another one. Thus, I waited until Prime day and bought this one b/c of the bluetooth feature. Let me say that being able to start the kettle from bed is peak lazy and I am here for it! The kettle has default temp settings for various things coffee, tea etc. but it also has a “my brew” setting where you can program your preferred temperature….. and it will hold the temperature for 30 mins or whatever you set it to…… I also really like the way this gooseneck pours… I cant explain why but the fancier brand I had I didn’t love pouring the kettle. My one complaint with this and other gooseneck kettles is the size …. I wish it was bigger …. I guess most people who make pour over only make the cup they are drinking right then …. Not me I like to make coffee once in the morning not on a per cup basis …. so confession time I use 2 kettles in the morning …..

Heats up water quickly for my morning joe – thats all I need! The gooseneck spout makes it great for either filling the aeropress or pouring over the chemex. The hold temp feature means I don’t need to reheat when I come back for a second cup, but it heats quickly enough thats not really a concern. The various pre-set temps are handy for things other than coffee. But, honestly, this is all about coffee, right?
I like the idea of the app and the delay start feature. But, I’ve not used them.
So far its been bulletproof – no worries.

I searched for a long time to find this kettle because I can schedule a time in the morning to heat up the water for my coffee. A great thing I found after I received the kettle is that I don¡¯t really need this feature because it heats up so fast in about 4 minutes. The Bluetooth control apps also you to select ¡°Always Hold Temp¡± and ¡°Maintain Hold Temp¡±, which I found very usefully because when you drip your coffee you will pick up and return the kettle many times. This saves you the hassle of pressing the buttons many times. The only negative thing is the silkscreen of the kettle I received does not match the buttons. You can see the picture I took to see what I meant. I think that is because the manufacturer messed up the kettle parts of two different models. After contacting customer support, they shipped me a replacement without asking the to return the one with the silkscreen issue. So, I have two kettles now to keep one as a spare even one of the kettle has wrong silkscreen, but all the other functions work fine. Thanks for your great customer support. As you can see in my picture, I also bought the other products from . They are good products as well.

Whats important to know about an electric kettle is that it should not have plastic parts coz over the time you will be drinking heated plastic bits.
I first got this kettle as its all and the filter is steel. You will notice that there are kettles out there which have a metal body but a see through plastic window which means hot water will be scaling at that plastic window all the time when you are boiling the water. Over time your water will be of lower quality and infact dangerous with microscopic plastic pieces.
On my first purchase of this kettle, all was fine until one day I took out the plug immediately after the boiling was done. The plug was warm, I called up and they replaced the kettle. However I was not satisfied I thought the quality was on the lower end. I returned the second and then bought a high end Cuisinart kettle thinking if I pay thrice the price the stuff would be good and it will be from a brand which I can trust . However, was disappointed to find that , the cusiniart kettle had a weird steel cylinder and the bottom of the cylinder had a plastic washer ring and the filter at the top was also plastic. I thought even if the power cable was more sturdy and it may not heat up as much as that of ‘s but having two plastic pieces in the kettle was not acceptable. I immediatly returned it and placed an order for ( third one ) and sticking with it.

Great kettle!! Easy to clean and heat up fairly quick. We use on our camping trips. Has a nice blue light that illuminates when you turn on to heat up water and turn off to show when water is heated up. Definitely a nice size and worth purchasing. This is my second kettle. I gave the first one to my mother in law–who uses hers everyday.

Truly a great product – no clue on it’s longevity just yet. But in the month I have had it – it has worked flawlessly and very quickly!
